Our Stone

Here at Moorhay Stone & Slate, We have a quarry in Derbyshire 
which produces beautiful stone perfect for creating grand and decorative features and houses, This stone is extremely popular in Derbyshire and can be seen all around there but due to the neutral colours, visual aesthetics and durability, people now use this stone all over the UK.

​Our stone is primarily greeny grey with the odd hint of orange through some stones which is the iron in the stone, on the right is a picture of split stone to show an idea of the texture and the colours.

All our stone is from the same quarry so it will all match on whatever project you're doing, so if you're building your dream house, you don't need to worry about your quoins, cills, lintels and stonework matching together!
